If you’ve noticed some things looking a little wonky around the shop lately (like certain listings acting funky or previews not loading just right), you’re not imagining it — and we want to fill you in on what’s going on behind the scenes.

We’re in the middle of a big upgrade to our backend systems so we can offer something we’ve been dreaming about for a long time: a truly personalized live preview experience that’s as magical and accurate as our products deserve. It’s a huge lift (bigger than we expected, if we’re being honest!), but one we know will be worth it.

As with many big dreams, this one has come with its share of growing pains. We’ve invested thousands with outside developers who… let’s just say, didn’t quite get us where we needed to go. So now? We’re rolling up our sleeves and building it ourselves — line by line, pixel by pixel, with a whole lotta gumption and a triple-shot of Southern charm.

We’ve had to ask ourselves some tough questions: Is it better to wait until it’s perfect, or do we release what’s working now, knowing it’s not quite where we want it to be yet? In true Southern Supply fashion, we chose the path that lets youstart enjoying live previews sooner. Because your experience has always been our top priority.
